University Team Project
Project Overview
Designed and built a fully automated table tennis ball launcher capable of firing balls into three separate regions of a table without human interaction. The project focused on mechanical simplicity, reliability, and effective motion control through the integration of multiple subsystems including a launching mechanism, feeding system, and oscillation system.

Led the concept design of the launcher, developing a simple and reliable system architecture that was selected as the final team design.
Designed a ball feeding system using a piston mechanism to ensure controlled single-ball delivery and prevent jamming or misalignment.
Implemented a dual-wheel launching mechanism to accelerate and project balls using friction-based propulsion.
Developed an oscillation system using a linkage mechanism to convert rotational motion into controlled angular movement across three target zones.
Created a full CAD assembly and defined key dimensions to ensure proper integration and manufacturability of components.
